Re: Artist-Wikipedia

I would survey my existing userbase about usability feedback, learning curves, difficulties and whatever... That was exactly the intention with my previous post! And that is what I am trying to do. And that's why I would like to get more details, as general 'things are sometimes hidden' or 'I can n...

Re: Play Over

If I understand you correctly you want to 'relay' another radio station - meaning by default you just constantly 'play' a certain URL stream. And you then want (at certain times) play over this URL stream your own station IDs or Jingles (no matter what is currently being playing by that URL stream)....

Re: Broadcast VST plugin

Why are you copying VST plugins into the Winamp directory? Howerver... PF restores all settings correctly! No worries. It is just, that the VST doesn't remember it...and as such the current settings are still exactly the same, just the preset name is not 'reselected'. But that is nothing under my co...

Re: DB view Media library

As explained above, from you above screenshot I can not see, that you have selected a 'Media Library'! So beside specifying a 'Host and Port' as well as the 'Password' in the 'Remote Media Library' dialog (as shown above) you must also select one of the media libraries which you have defined on your...

Re: Artist-Wikipedia

Thanks for your comments, they are well appreciated. But some of them are not rather fair and might just be a matter of 'how you are working with it". Almost ALL functions and features do have a related button and context-menu entry - so there is typically no need to know special keyboard commands. ...

Re: Sound Solution and ProppFrexx ONAIR

ProppFrexx is by itself a 32-bit application - so it will run fine on both Win7 32-bit as well as 64-bit. You should also NOT run ProppFrexx as an Admin - but as a default user, just like normal - as Win7 disables some drag&drop functionalities by itself when in Admin mode. So I guess your main issu...

Re: Virtual Audio Sound Card

ProppFrexx needs an (virtual) audio device driver – but actually not a physical soundcard. So you might use a virtual audio device driver (virtual soundcard) on such a 2008 Server. A few (I haven’t tested them) are below: http://www.e2esoft.cn/vsc/ http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm http://w...

Re: Artist-Wikipedia

The request is already possible today! Within the DJ PLayer, Playlist info panel etc. make a double-click on the Trackname (resp. Artist name) field while holding down the CTRL key. This will invike a search within the integrated web-browser to search for that 'Artist'. In the Web-Browser itself you...

Working with the Advert-Manager

The Advert-Manager (as well as the Overlay-Player) is only available in the Enterprise or Professional Version! Note: You must define an 'Advertising Storage Path' within ProppFrexx ONAIR to use any of these features (see the 'More Stuff' section in the general configuration dialog)! The default pas...
