The GPIO client was optimized in various ways.

As you so far did not send me any settings and I heavily tested all scenarios here with the latest StereoTool v7.73 I can only assume it must be a combination of StereoTool not wirking with your ASIO driver or your StereoTool and/or ASIO settings. I just tested it here again; but unfortunately I can not reproduce your issue here.
The GPIO Client application starts with ProppFrexx ONAIR and also shutdown when I close ProppFrexx ONAIR.
It also restores all settings, just as expected...

A) You say that the GPIO Client runs as a service?! That would be very strange, as the Installer nor ProppFrexx ever would run that as a service! So did you manually do this? Or what do you consider as a service? B) When you upgrade to a v4 version of course your old v3 will be disabled. Else you wo...
