Various License Questions?!
Due to public demand, here are some general answers to various license questions: Can I use the Non-Commercial license in a non-profit environment? No. The non-commercial license is for pure private use only. Our license terms define non-commercial for pure no-money-making private use. I.e. you can ...

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
As I am currently on holiday, I am not 100% sure about the overlay (but I guess I added a similar feature - but cannot recall that out of my head). For programs see the ‚TryEnsureExactLength‘ option, as well as the ‚BridgeTrack‘. Note, that you can not only specify a single track, but also a .pfp pl...

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
The program and the overlay scheduler are totally independent. What I ment with ‚duplicate‘ is, that for example in the program scheduler you might have defined just one entry and then set its recurrence to ‚every day‘. Instead you can create 7 entries on each day and set its recurrence to ‚weekly‘....

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Eg. define a program for each day individually.
That way you can define a different one for Tuesday and Sunday.
So yes, repeat the definition for the other days a d duplicate them.

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Sure. If you want to reboadcast a live show, you need to record it. You can also do this is ProppFrexx also in an automated fashion, ie. auto record a program with a eg. a fixed file name. Then use this file to play it at a later time to reboadcast it. See here for details: https://www.proppfrexx.ra...

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
What do you mean by ‘sometimes live’..? Maybe you mean you take over a live broadcast from another stream (URL)? If yes, you can do this independent (on top of any running program) via the MODStream Watcher feature. Follow this link and the references within: https://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/forum...

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
What is your filename schema (the DJ sends you)? Either you schedule a fix filename. In that case you don’t have to specify anything special. Ie. each program simply uses the same script with the LoadTrack script-line using that fix file name. Or you schedule a filename using a dynamic date and time...

Re: Remote OnAir Viewer
As said, yes they can theoretically do something harmful - but why should they. If you don’t, they can do something more harmful by talking bad. And exactly for such reason (start or stop a ModStream Watcher), so they can ‚take over‘ at a certain time their live stream from home, I added those remot...

Re: Remote OnAir Viewer
Unlikely. What damage should it be?
You mainly control playback with remote commands - which is the job of a DJ anyhow.
Biggest damage is bad music and bad talks…
But yes, there theoretically chances… but then don’t give them access to keyboards, USB etc. that is a much bigger security issue.

Re: Remote OnAir Viewer
No the remote viewer works as is.
But you don’t have to assign any commands to it - then DJs can not use them…
