What exactly crashes? What version are you using.
There must be either some error being logged in a file called "Error.log" contained in the ProppFrexx AppUserData folder OR a message in the Windows Event Log.
Please submit this!

Try changing the recurrence info accordingly by clicking on the 'Recurrence...' button.
That should do the trick!
