Why would you have that minimized?
It can simply be closed and reopened. That saves much more resources and that's why it cannot be minimized at the moment.

I assume that the debug log also doesn't give you any hint?

That is again strange - I also tested this here on 3 PCs and it works perfectly fine.

I now also provided a new v4.0.1.40-update with additional checks and a new UI lib version!

Please look above and my initial questions:

You might also rollback to the v4.6.1 .Net Framework and see, if the error disappears in your system...
Are you using UAC?
What Explorer Paths have you defined?

Switching to v4.0.1.39 might help, but that seems also impossible for you. I don't know why, since various other users already did update and had no issues - so I am also lost at this point and it seems, that something more general is not okay in your setup - maybe? I myself tested the .39 on 3 diff...

At this point just go back to your previous version... which is backed up in the Previous Version folder... You can install the latest v4.6.2 .Net framework.

Can you also please send me your complete ProppFrexx "Error.log" file to take a look at!
