‘Preserve’: Strangeness when Stopping/Resuming Playback
Hi Bernd, Just playing around with the new auto-load-tracks-on-drop functionality. It mostly works as expected, but I’ve already found some things that don’t look like they should… http://i.imgur.com/kQBwVi7.png I had inserted Track 2 while Track 1 was already playing in Deck A and tracks 3 and 4 we...

Re: v3.0.11.40 - stable
Nice. The way you implemented the ‘Preserve Playlist Order’ option seems to be exactly what I had in mind—gotta give it a spin later today.

Re: Auto-reorder loaded tracks when changing playlist order
Yes, it is more logical. But also more straining on the resources, since it would require 2 (or, in a 4-player setup, even 3) tracks to be reloaded more or less simultaneously, instead of just one when doing as I proposed. (Unloading shouldn’t use up a noticeable amount of CPU time, loading, on the ...

Keyboard navigation in search results requires mouse click
Good evening, I’m preparing a playlist using the ‘Find track’ window. On entering the search string and pressing the Return key, it used to be possible to navigate in the search results using the Arrow-Up and -Down keys. This is not possible in v3.0.11.39—the first search result is highlighted, but ...

Re: Auto-reorder loaded tracks when changing playlist order
I guess I now understand what you are trying to achieve....however, I guess the scenarios you described above are a bit incorrect resp. not logical: Why not logical? Now you want to add/insert a new 'Track F' to the playlist... You can now either drop this 'Track F' onto the following existing play...

Re: Auto-reorder loaded tracks when changing playlist order
Ok, let’s make up some scenarios… Original situation: as described by you above. If I now drag Track D up, it should be like this: 1. Track A - playing (DJ A) 2. Track D - cued Next (DJ C) [for simplicity’s sake; if it went into DJ B, that would take some extra loading operations] 3. Track B - cued ...

Re: Auto-reorder loaded tracks when changing playlist order
So, if I understand you correctly, the ‘Follow’ option must be enabled for this to work. This would make the players play in a strict A-B-C-A-B-C-etc. fashion. I just made a little trial playlist enabling ‘Follow’, and the playout behaviour seems to be as expected, as long as I don’t add tracks to t...

Auto-reorder loaded tracks when changing playlist order
Hi Bernd, I’ve had the opportunity to work with an older version of mAirlist (v3.x) over the weekend. One thing I liked about it was that when, in a 2-deck layout, you move a track to the ‘cued for playing next’ position, the track that was originally loaded in the other player is automatically unlo...
