Re: Make triggered fade-out fully configurable
You can already configure all this today: […] Also note, that fading starts immediately when 'triggering' it (e.g. when pressing the 'Play Next Use Fading' button or pressing F9)! So your assumption under (2) is not correct. Thank you for the explanation. Now that I changed the mixing delay time, i...

Re: playing large wav.files
Btw, which DSP are you using (as theoretically this might also introduce lags, if badly implemented)? One of the Winamp DSPs included with ProppFrexx (I suspect that it’s one and the same, even though the selection window shows five of them, but the names are the same, only amended with a consecuti...

Re: playing large wav.files
Another setup amendment: I changed channel [2]’s driver model to NONE and created a new channel, which I will call [4] for the purposes of this thread, which takes a copy of the signal from channel [2] to be monitored on the headphones. Channel [4] is then further copied to channel [3] for speaker o...

Re: playing large wav.files
I now changed my setup such that I eliminated all non-real-time channels from ProppFrexx by setting channel [2] to ASIO (via ASIO4All) and channel [3] to WASAPI. I would prefer to use WASAPI for channel [2] too, but that will only run on 48 kHz, which the DSP processor doesn’t play with. And now the...

Re: playing large wav.files
Sorry for being late to answer, I’ve been a bit busy lately… Just to try to prevent misunderstandings here: I’m not saying that Majesty’s issue and mine are related, just that the symptom is somewhat similar. As for the skipping: I am recording a sum signal, consisting of 1 or (during track change) ...

Make triggered fade-out fully configurable
Hi Bernd, I’ve been having my niggles with the triggered fade-out (e.g. when using ‘Play Next Fade Current’ (F9)). If I am not mistaken, the actual fade time is already configurable. There are, however, two things I would like to see configuration options for: (1) Currently the default behaviour for...

Re: playing large wav.files
@ Majesty: If I get you correctly, then this is probably a similar issue to what I’ve been experiencing every now and then. I usually don’t play exceptionally large files in ProppFrexx though, and ProppFrexx needs to have been playing for several hours on end for this to occur here—doesn’t seem to m...
