Re: Overlays stopped playing
@Dimitris: So the system got stuck when reading the following 3 files (to create a playback stream): 1.) ...

Re: Overlays stopped playing
Do you happen to have a debug log from the above date/time. Maybe I can identify something from the log - especially identify the overlay which did not terminate correctly (which must be 13 overlays prior to the ones you posted above). May be that gives us some starting point. E.g. from here we migh...

Re: Overlays stopped playing
The UI lib is not involved in that part of the code. But I didn't say, that it is Microsoft bug. I said it could be anywhere. Finding such bug (if existing) is almost only possible by try and error and excluding or changing components one by one - if finding it at all is possible. There are a few to...

Re: Overlays stopped playing
So what have been the results of the tests...as I mentioned a few? - Did you get any latency spikes? - Did you get any memory errors? - Any USB errors? Not sure if it is only the OS? As it is often a component or a driver. I once had a customer using an onboard soundcard - once he changed that to an...

Re: DSP not on enabled PFOA start
And it only happens on that specific PC?!
That indeed sounds similar to the overlay issue you posted here:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1279
Like a thread that can not be terminated correctly and is hanging by the OS!

Re: Overlays stopped playing
Me either! I slowly get the feeling, that it might be your PC or a component of the PC? From that log entry it really looks like a system issue! - isn't that also the PC on which your VST isn't restoring correctly whereas on other PCs it is working? The state as written in the log you showed was an ...

Re: DSP not on enabled PFOA start
Hm, I also just tested JB Broadcast here on multiple PCs and also on different mixer channels, but they ALL restored perfectly fine - like on your other PC. Are other VSTs restoring correctly on that PC? If other VSTs are restoring correctly then it must be somehow related to that VST and your PC - ...

Re: DSP not on enabled PFOA start
What DSP (VST) is it? And what type of mixer channel is it? (anything specific to that mixer channel on your OnAir machine, e.g. a virtual one, a shared driver with another mixer channel)? The only reason I see is, that the VST fails to load on your OnAir-PC at startup? Is the same VST working on an...

Re: Initial Output Volume not saved
Yes you are wrong - these are totally different things! a) Initial (Player) Output Volume - as described above in my post: These are the initial player volumes and DO NOT reflect any mixer channel volume. The initial player volume might be used to adjust the volume of the individual players initiall...

Re: Initial Output Volume not saved
Here it is saved and restored. Please describe how you are testing things! I did it as followed: a) General settings, section 'Player Settings', click on the 'Initial Output Volume...' button b) change the 'PFL Player Volume' value to e.g. -12,00 dB and click OK c) Exit ProppFrexx and restart d) ope...
