Re: Hotkey Mapping / TalkUser

Funny enough, that PF doesn't even really make use of the registry. It is purely the Microsoft Windows installer of PF which always uses the registry. That's why I save all config things in files and NOT in the registry. But note that the Hotkey mapping file do use the extension .key. Which is also ...

Re: Automatically insert jingle over a program

Then the overlay scheduler seems to be the right choice. You actually need to create 6 overlays and eg. specify an hourly recurrence. Ie at :00, :10, :20, :30, :40 and :50. You can then use a small script for that overlay having only one script line which picks the jingle. Then make sure to NOT spec...

Re: News & Embedded container

Ahh now I see what is happening. If it is just within a pre-prepared playlist. The one loop flag isn't correctly saved/restored in a playlist file.
I'll provide an update layer today which will fix the issue.

Re: Midi Server

It is hard to say what it could be, A hardware issue? A driver issue?
What has changed since it was working?
Also note, that a midi device can only be used exclusively, eg if the device is also used by any other software PF could not use it anymore. Could that be a possible reason?

Re: News & Embedded container

If you get this error than one of your specified tracks is either unavailable or inaccessible. Eg your opener, closer or news track. But this would not change no matter if you use a script or not. When a track is cut too early I am pretty sure you did not set your cue points correctly. And of course...

Re: News & Embedded container

Can you please confirm what version you are using? As I am absolutely unable to reproduce your issue! Are you sure you always specified the "One Loop" option when selecting "Add" -> "Insert Embedded Container from..." from within a playlist?! I am also not sure why you ...

Re: News & Embedded container

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to do?
The approx. defines a minimum time, so specifying a small duration (eg 5sec.) might ensure that only one news item is played. Have you tried that?

Re: Hotkey Mapping / TalkUser

May be it's the windows layout or a certain DSP window which causes the trouble. You might try to temp. move away the "ProppFrexx ONAIR.layout" file and then restart PF to see if that changes things. In addition you might remove any used DSPs to see if they prevent the hot keys from workin...

Re: Confusion with overlay countdown timer

Okay again. You can change the start type when allowed in the overlay settings by clicking on the overlay players status bar (where the current start type and time is displayed). This will open a popup window where you can change the start type. This is as said possible up until the scheduled start ...

Re: Confusion with overlay countdown timer

No No.
This is NOT what I am saying :-)
Please read my posts above!
You can change the start type WITHIN the overlay player which means when it is already shown!
Up to the last second of its planned start time - not showing time!
