Re: Time Of Day - Scripting Restriction

As you suggested, I've been using a conditional filtering to achieve basic day parting. I was very much looking forward to switching to the new Scripting Restrictions for advanced day parting. Since it offers more controls other than simply time (i use month and day of the week restrictions), also a...

Time Of Day - Scripting Restriction

A bit confused with the Time of Day scripting restriction results. From my understanding Scripting Restrictions define the time period when the track is not to be played. JJ Cale-Magnolia was entered as 8pm to 4am ... and the result i was looking for is that this track would be allowed to play from ...

Re: Phantom Tracks in Library History

Thanks for the detailed explanation. While I understand the functional necessity of adding a track to library history at the time it is queued (instead of waiting until it is played) - i fail to see any benefit in maintaining tracks as part of library history that ultimately never played at their de...

Phantom Tracks in Library History

Started using Library History to augment the Global History. Oddly, the Library History seems to occasionally retain songs that were never played by a script. This doesn't happen often: out of a total 50 track history, only 4 were "phantom". In the screenshot below - top left is the Librar...

Re: SoftTimeUpdateSync and Starting Program Ahead of Scheduled Time

Thanks for your always prompt replies. You are correct, I have switched to using playlists for DJ shows instead of full mixed down shows in a single WAV file. I'll try to better explain what I'm looking for. First some background: I use 1 hour long programs to fill the clock - so each day has 24 pro...

Re: SoftTimeUpdateSync and Starting Program Ahead of Scheduled Time

and here's an example 2 hours later where the scheduler worked perfectly. 2:56 track was queued to play at 22:59:59. However, even though the next hour is showing as being scheduled to start at 23:02:55 - it actually started at 22:59:59.

Re: SoftTimeUpdateSync and Starting Program Ahead of Scheduled Time

Sorry to revive this topic - but the suggested solution of starting each program at 1 minute to the hour did not produce desired results. Mainly because TryEnsureExactLength function is too good - and the result was that 90% of my programs did end up starting at 1 minute to the hour. I'm attaching a...
