Re: osc message
What OSC server are you using? And how do you test things? Why do you exactly know or belivieve, that your server doesn't receive the float value?! Testing it here with TouchOSC it works perfectly fine. Maybe your OSC server does not understand float parameter - or your OSC control with the name '/m...

Re: Midi server currently not started
And are you sure your MIDI controller (Launchpad) is effectively working? Also note, that any MIDI device can only be used exclusively, meaning it can not be shared by multiple applications! Maybe another app is still using it? I also assume, that you have you enabled the MIDI server in the PF gener...

Re: Midi server currently not started
Did you connect the MIDI controller after ProppFrexx was started? If yes, make sure your Midi controller is connected before. Sometimes it also needs to be connected before you start your PC. Have you tried to restart/reboot your PC? What does happen, if you open the 'RCM' popup (Remote Control Moni...

Re: Meter scale
Hi Michael, I tested a bit more and also implemented a (new) peak level meter using a 0 dB FS scale plus an overload indicator (orange = near overload between -0.2dB and 0.0dB and red = overload above 0.0dB). While testing all this I must agree, that this level meter was indeed more easy to read/und...

Re: adding new buttons to ribbon
Yes.
Make a right-click on an existing ribbon tag header and select 'Customize the Ribbon...'.
The upcoming dialog allows you to create a 'New - Tab' with a 'New Group' (on the right side of the dialog) to which you can then add existing buttons (from the left side of the dialog).

Re: Change custom commands order
No, currently not directly within the Command-Builder (except manually adding/removing the commands). So I might add that possibility in a next version.
But you can rearrange the lines in the regular text edit box by simply cutting/pasting the lines.
Note that 1 line equals one command.

Re: adding new buttons to ribbon
Adding new buttons is not possible. This is a limitation of the UI lib I am using and that limit relates to the Microsoft design guides.
So unfortunately nothing I can do about...
You might 'only' add the user command gallery, which is the group showing 10 buttons...

Re: Switching to live mode while in auto and the opposite.
An overlay currently (only) has a 'Suspend' option, but not a 'Force AutoPlay' option. As such, an overlay would (only) automatically resume a playlist if it was on AutoPlay beforehand. When switching playlists while an overlay is playing, any new playlist would only be considered for AutoPlay, if i...

Re: Meter scale
There should not be any signal above! Check any of the professionally used software (Nuendo, Pro tools and such) None have metering above 0dbfs. That would be nice ;-) But when using high-resolution 32-bit floating point precision, this can actually happen ;-) Nuendo, Pro Tools etc. just clip this ...

Re: Meter scale
I will put it on the WishList ... to make all meter level displays 'switchable'...or I might add an extra level meter window which can be customized
