Post by radio42 »

Version 4.0.0.18 is out!

What's New?
  • GPIO Client auto-reconnect added
  • GPIO Client GamePort access redesigned
  • DJ Player's URL 'KeepStreamAlive' option bug-fix
  • Playlist DragDrop AutoSweeper bug-fix
  • Various smaller optimizations
  • Other smaller bug-fixes
  • stable

GPIO Client auto-reconnect added, GPIO Client GamePort access redesigned
The GPIO client was optimized in several aspects, especially it now includes an automatic reconnect feature in case a connection got broken somehow.
In addition the GamePort handling was completely reworked! It now supports ALL kind of DirectInput devices, i.e. beside Joysticks or Gamepads it also supports any HID Keyboard, Mouse or any other direct input device.

With this update i ran into a problem.
The GPIO client is in a loop. It first starts, the gives me an error that states that i did not get an answer in time.
Then connects again en fails again and so on and on.

My Velleman is working as I look into the monitor when the GPIO client is working for a few seconds.
But does not work in proppfrexx
Can you please advise.

Greetings,
Jeroen

Yes, that is intended and by design it is the automatic reconnect feature.
It probably informs you, that the GPIO Client itself can not connect to your ProppFrexx ONAIR instance!
If this the case, please check your server settings within the GPIO Client: the address, port number and password.
E.g. you might also remove the connect string from the address field totally to let the GPIO Client automatically discover the ProppFrexx ONAIR server address.
