Shoutcast v1 isn´t playable any more with latest browser version

Shoutcast versions below 2.5 aren´t playable any more with every latest browser. You´ve either to switch to shoutcast v2 or icecast.
Personally I try to use icecast, but got different problems. Perhaps anyone knows how to solve:
- When I load a stream at the browser the mountpoint buffers one minute before it plays any sound,
- directory listings are not made although proppfrexx sends the public header and every mountpoint is set public=1
