fade (mix) after overlay to playlist

Post by yourx »

At the end of an overlay track ends this without fading to the next playlist. What should I do to have a fade (mix) from overlay to playlist.

Thanks Henry

Yes. In the Overlay Scheduler Entry you can define the Mix In and Out time in milliseconds.

when i set 5000ms the only thing wath happens that the track stops earlier with a hard cut and no fade.
i can send you a recording sample. please try it i dont understand wath im doing wrong. This is my set, playlist is running and in the overlay is starting a playlist, all tracks in this playlist are running and mixing ok only the last track stops without fading but eind with hard cut.

What is the natural end of the last track in the overlay playlist?
Also try a negative mix out value.

There is a cross fade.
The NEXT cue-point defines the point where the next track starts to play - this defines the segue.
The Fade cue-point defines where optionally the track starts to fade out.
So I am not sure what exactly you are missing?

The picture even shows this. However it shows the PFL player and not any segue between an Overlay and a paused program.
Also note, that you can define for each Overlay a Mix-In and Mix-Out time in top!

Please click on the ? Icon at the top right of the Overlay entry dialog for a complete help of all settings.

Listen to this link you hear what i'm mean. http://www.yourx.nl/wp-content/uploads/ ... 5000ms.wav
there is no crossfade between the last track from the overlay ... its a hard cut instad of a mix or crossfade.
