Same FTE loaded into Deck A and B

Post by ExIT_FM »

Hi Bernd,

My script schedule a FTE every hour at 0 minute. When the program loads it to the deck, it loads the FTE to 2 decks. I have to restart PFOA to fix the problem. Can you look after this issue please? Thank you.

What exact PF Version are you using?
If not the latest v4.0.1.3 please try that one first.
Else please send me your .pfs script file you are using and a screenshot of your program scheduler entry configuration.
Does that happen every time and always or only randomly or only at start of the program or only in between?

I'm using v4.0.1.3 at the moment.
I have one "hour starter FTE" at XX:00:00 in the main script that runs all day. If any other program scheduled, PFOA run them in "Overlay EndTime Soft".
This issue appears randomly, but once it happened, that FTE loaded into two decks every time.
Requested files attached.

Sounds very strange, so far I am unable to reproduce that.

Is there also a FTE defined in the script used by the overlayed program?
And when does the issue appear 'first'? With the overlayed program? or just somewhere else in your daily program?
From what you say it sounds impossible, that a single playlist entry is loaded twice into a player - and a FTE is at first a regular playlist entry!

A few more questions:
- Is there any reason, why you reload your script before the start?
- How does your overlayed program entry and related script look like?

In the last 48 hours there was no problem with the FTE.
Yes, I use FTE in my overlay programs to schedule pre-recorded blocks.
Today a removed the FTE from the main script, and I added some overlays to schedule the news which ends with the hour starter jingle.

Btw this issue appeared only with the main script in totally random times. Sometimes right after the start, sometimes a few days later. But today I encountered with an other issue. One of the decks didn't unload the played track. It stucked at the end (Cue Out point). The waveform was blinking, but I had to unload it manually. After that, everything worked fine. I was wondering, could it happen if my system is overloaded? I mean, if the CPU usage is about 60%...

There was no reason to reload the main script, I unticked it.
I reload all my overlay scripts because sometimes I change it, before the program starts.
I attached a screenshot of my overlay program+script.

ps.: sorry for late answer

The "same track played twice" just happened today with a music. I attached a screenshot of my playlist log and the current playlist. The song added once to the playlist but played twice. I have no idea how and why.

The CPU usage is not constantly high but sometimes goes up to 60% depends on what i'm doing...

Nobody in the studio now, and only the basic script runs today only + overlays (news, etc.)
It happened with the FTEs only until now. This is the first time with musics and finally now I catched it. :D
I will send the .pfp to you a bit later.

OKi, and make sure to enable the 'Debug Logging' - as else we would never find it ;-)

And now the second issue happened.
Last track didn't unload + next track didn't start. Seems like "Next" cue point suppressed.
I had to start it manually. Luckily the debug mode is on so hopefully its logged. I'll send the report when I get home.

There is no FTE in the script now. I use overlay to add these "promo" files to the playlist as individual entries.
Its strange because I couldn't find the track in Deck C in my playlist... I'm gonna check my playlist history.
The other strange thing is, no Debug log file created in the app data directory.
I think it should be here: "c:\Users\ExIT FM\AppData\Roaming\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\4.0\" isn't it?

I'll get home at about 4pm, I can check the things then.
