If there are no errors in the Error.log file of ProppFrexx, this first indicates, that the 'freeze' is NOT directly related to any ProppFrexx error itself.
So I doubt, that reinstalling ProppFrexx will solve that.
It more sounds like any other software component causes a crash in a sub-system, probably within the sound or graphics system.
As last time you also indicated, that you where using Google Chrome, I suspect, that this might be the more likely cause of it.
