I also do not really get your point regarding the volume of the container. If you define volume points, e.g. attenuate certain parts of the hook container, of course the resulting container stream will be attenuated. I am not what exactly is your expectation?
Note, that you can access/modify the containers volume (gain) directly from the VT dialog window by clicking on the Level Meter display - this will open up a popup window to adjust the container gain.

Thanks
About that, I dont understand how to get some changing levels in the embed container while VT, there's no way to put any volume point in the segue editor on the "container" as it's possible on an audio file in the VT recorder. when I use the attenuate button it doesn't do any volume change on the container. the best way to have these VT done is to 'over-attenuate' the all container to make the final compression and AGC do the job but it doesn't sound as good & natural as live.
When you VT beetwen a track and a container there's only a black track with no waveform (I can understand why) But it would be great to be able to put some Volume points there.

Yes, that is currently not possible (to edit a non-audio track, like a container). I will take a look, but I am not too sure, to implement that easily.

Please try the latest v4.0.3.77-update.
A WaveForm for smaller embedded containers and embedded playlist entries will now be rendered; which also enables full segue and volume point editing.
Embedded hook containers also fall into this category and should now be resolved and saved correctly.

Hi Bernd after a few days of use, There's a little something a bit strange. Sometimes when you open the S.EDITOR right after recording from the VT window, the Embeded, file appear as it was before, without any possible volume point. after closing and reopening from the playlist windows then it's back.

What embedded (file) is that you are talking about?
There is actually no embedded (file), but only an embedded container.
However, I cannot reproduce what you are describing.
Can you clearly reproduce the scenario?
If yes, please give some advice on how to reproduce it step by step.
