Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
Hi,
I noticed a bug in the interface of the Settings / Events/Commands.
The commands trees are not opening.
As you can see, the click on the "Playlist" group just move the > but did not open the tree.
And at that point, nothing other open when I click other items.
Was forced to reboot PF to access the commands.
PF was updated few days ago to last version.
Best regards

Re: Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
What exact version are you using?
I just tried it here in the latest v4.1.4.2 and it works without problems!

The last version : 4.1.4.2
The problem didn't show up after a PF restart.
I will retry later...

Re: Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
Hi,
Did you have any other users comments regarding this issue ?
With the actual version 4.2.3, we still need to restart PF almost every time we need to change commands in the setting panel.
After a variable time, from few hours to days, the commands trees cannot be opened.
Is there any informations/files that could help to find out where this came from ?
Best regards

Re: Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
I can absolutely not reproduce that issue - no have I heard from any other user about such a behavior/error.
As such, I am pretty sure, that the issue is maybe related so some other system issue on the system.
The original poster/user also only needed to reboot his machine once and after that all was good and he never faced an issue again.
Maybe you are using an outdated .Net framework or OS?

"I can absolutely not reproduce that issue - no have I heard from any other user about such a behavior/error."
It is simple to reproduce I have the issue in the newest version of the "FANTASTIC" PF. The problem is while the window of the PF is leaved open and user decide to lock the screen or the user is connecting over the RDP and before the disconnection the PF's windows is opened. After unlocking the computer or if the user is connecting again over RDP the events/command section are not displaying correctly. Only way to do so is restarting the "mighty" PF. If the user minimize the PF's window before locking the screen or RDP disconnection, all comes to normal after unlocking the screen. Events/commands working as expected.
Bernd you're such ignorant.

Re: Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
I ignore your impolite statements.
Here is a video, which is hopefully show-casing your scenario you described:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/eckaq2ryzxwfa ... d.mp4?dl=0
I did the following:
1. Opened PF, general settings, section Events/Commands
2. The Event tree is responsive and shows all tree nodes
3. Left the window open...
4. I locked the screen (Windows-Key + L)
5. I unlocked the screen again...
6. The Event tree is still responsive and shows all tree nodes
7. I closed the general settings
8. Locked and Unlocked the screen
9. and started at 1. again
10. The Event tree is still responsive and shows all tree nodes
Am I doing anything different? As I can not reproduce the case!
Note, that I am testing locally! Not via any remote software (RDP), as else I could evaluate any application behavior and to make sure, that it is not the RDP causing any trouble.

Re: Settings - Events/Commands trees unavailables
I now also did a test with Windows Remote Desktop connection, as well as VNC.
Both behave the same as shown above - works without any unavailability.
If you experience, that the tree (ProppFrexx) is unavailable via an RDP connection? And if you experience the unavailability tru the RDP (re)connection/manager only (as I couldn't reproduce that locally), I am afraid, that you should contact your RDP vendor.

Really? Are you insane? The only One vendor of the RDP is the MICROSOFT. Man! You must know that company!I am afraid, that you should contact your RDP vendor.
