Icecast Playback giving "Invalid URL"
Icecast Playback giving "Invalid URL"
Hi Bernd,
I am struggling to play an Icecast stream using ProppFrexx v3.0.10.34. I tried MODStreamer and adding it directly to a playlist, with no success.
The URL I am using is "http://85.197.99.175:8000/IFBNaac" but ProppFrexx constantly tells me "Invalid URL". I have tried the same on v3.0.9.89 and it works fine.
Maybe something changed or I am missing something.
Any input/help will be greatly be appreciated.
Theo

Re: Icecast Playback giving "Invalid URL"
Just tested the stream/URL here with the latest PF version and it plays just fine.
So are you sure it isn't any temporary internet issue on your side?

Thanks Bernd,
I got it sorted. PF was working fine. Norton Internet Security secretly decided that PF was evil and blocked its network connections . I convinced Norton otherwise. Now all is working fine again.

Glad to hear that.
Yes, Norton is sometime behaving strangely.
