Tabs outside screen
Tabs outside screen
I hope this is a new one because I haven't found it in the forums.
When you look at the screenshot, beforestart.jpg, This is how I like to position the tabs I dragged them to the middle positioning icon.
Now when I restart proppfrexx the next time I get a situation like in afterrestart.jpg
The windows are above the viewable area of the screen and I can't reach them. I have to do a layout reset.
Is this something with my drivers? They are pretty up to date (nVidia)
Thanks

Re: Tabs outside screen
Can you please confirm which version you are using.
As I am actually not even able to arrange the windows like you did!
By code only the playlist windows can be arranged centered/filled to the middle, but all other windows can only be docked to the top, left, right, bottom.

Re: Tabs outside screen
This is done with the latest version (.33)
I just dragged the window that includes the main maixer, Find, etc next to the playlist tab.
Possibly this isn't meant to happen, because you can not easily undo this )

Re: Tabs outside screen
Now I see wha tyiu mean - that seems to be indeed a bug in the UI lib I am using...so don't that for now
I#ll report that bug to the UI lib company...typically they respond also very fast.

Re: Tabs outside screen
I'm not sure if this fix was included in the latest .35 version but the issue is still there.
Note however that the tabs all aligned next to each other is a very good option for when you have a small screen resolution (1024x768).
It just gets messy upon next restart of PFOA.

Re: Tabs outside screen
This bug is actually a bug in the UI which I am using - so i can not fix this myself.
However, if you reset your Layout and then restart ProppFrexx you should not be allowed to move a panel group to the main document area - and as such the bug can not happen anymore.

Re: Tabs outside screen
Confirmed. After a Reset Layout I can no longer do this. (which is somewhat a pity )
Re: Tabs outside screen
No, that is even as it was initially designed to be.
It wouldn't make any sense to mix dock-panels and document windows (playlists).
