Copy/Paste Bug?

Post by RedPanda »

Hi again,

My friend is trying this program but has reported an odd problem. When she goes to copy multiple tracks (using 'shift' and then right click menu) form one playlist and paste them into a new playlist, the multiple tracks will not copy over. It will only ever copy 1 single file even with multiple tracks highlighted. We tried to find the problem if it was related to Windows, but so far nothing. She is using version .43 but also had the problem with .37

Thanks!

Can you please explain a bit more in detail what you are exactly doing?
I just tested the following 2 combinations:
a) "CTRL+C" (to copy the selected tracks to the clipboard) and the "CTRL+V" (to paste them into the new playlist)
b) Right-Click and select "Selection - Add to Playlist - <playlist name>" from the context menu
Both did work just fine...
So how do you tried to Copy/Paste multiple tracks?

Well it appears that after updating to the newest version .45 the bug is gone. Excellent!
Just a few details in case it helps you:

There was nothing wrong with adding selections to the playlists. Just that she could only do so one at a time. Also, when she setup playlists (they are .m3u playlists created in iTunes), when she attempt to copy or cut and then paste multiple selections, it was only copying or moving one item at a time after loading into ONAIR as multiple playlists. This is despite CTRL C or Right Clicking. Either case was the same. So basically she was doing exactly what you tried.
