Bernd,

Nothing in the proppfrexx error log.

The program crashed overnight, as described, and I've creatd a dump file, but I have no idea what to do with it.

Here's the file in my clolud storage- please let me know what it means :-P

Unfortunately there is also much in that Dump file as well telling me the root cause - except, that the error doesn't seem to persist somewhere inside the ProppFrexx code.
Which leases it basically to anything else including some native audio decoding errors.

So as a starting point first try to disable all not used audio codec within ProppFrexx:
Go to the general settings, section 'General/Audio' and click on the 'Add-Ons...' button.
In the list of supported additional audio formats deselect all you are for sure not using, e.g. "MusePack (MPC)", "WavPack (WV)", "Dolby Digital (AC3)", "The True Audio (TTA)", "Speex (SPX)" etc.
Then restart ProppFrexx....
