Incompatibility between Protools and Proppfrexx Onair?

Hello,

I will wish to use the software "Protools v8" for the creation of my jingles.
But when I install the software that came with my mini M-BOX2 Digidesign (Avid), Proppfrexx Onair "Enterprise" does not work anymore. It blocks the detection of audio devices.
If I disconnected my M-Box2 the problem persists.
If I uninstalled "Protools" everything falls into place.
Incompatibility between Protools and Proppfrexx Onair? :(
Do you have an idea of the problem?
Thank you for your help

I never encounter such things.
Which driver model are you using? And are you getting any error messages within ProppFrexx?
But it sounds more like 'ProTools' claims the driver for it exclusively, not letting any other applications access it any longer.
So it more sounds like if you need to ask ProTools, why they limit the access in such a way.

Thank you for your help !

The drivers are:
Digidesign Mbox 2 Audio Drive
Digidesign Mbox 2 Audio Midi

The messages are:

ProppFrexx:
Loading, Please wait,
Initializing audio devices...
Then stop.

Windows popup message:
The program ProppFrexx Onair has stopped working
Windows searches for a solution to the problem.

A problem caused the program has stopped working properly. Windows will close the program and tell you if a solution is available.

[Close Program] button

and nothing else...
