Add button "select all" for Media Library Selector
Add button "select all" for Media Library Selector
Hi Bernd,
Is there a possibility to add a button within the Media Library Selector (MLS) to add all Media Libraries at once instead of select them one by one?
Could be time saving when exporting the Media Libraries for backup solutions

Re: Add button "select all" for Media Library Selector
That would be great Bernd!
Something else about the MLS; when I add new directories to the MLS and have have to reboot later, all those latest additions are gone....
So I have to add them again to the MLS....
Also the MLS have problems with big directories with subdirectories (bigger music archives). I talk about archives with 50.000 music tracks...
So now I have to split this; for example a directory called "albums", with sub-directories "albums-a", "albums-b" etcetera.
Attached you will see an example how I add them to the MLS. It would be great if I don't have to create 26 seperate "album" libraries, but just 1 big library..

Re: Add button "select all" for Media Library Selector
I so not think the MLS has problems with big directories with many sub-folders.
I am using it with a single lib containing 200.000 tracks!
So why do you guess it has issues with larger folders...?
Maybe you did not wait long enough until the server has rescanned that folder?
I can also not reproduce your issue, that the MLS looses its configured libs.
Note, that your should gracefully stop the server! Else a simple reboot is like hardly killing the process, not giving it the chance to save its data

Re: Add button "select all" for Media Library Selector
Many thanks for your support; it worked!
Didn't know I had to stop the server.
Other question: export from the MLS works fine, but is there also a way to import that exported file?

Re: Add button "select all" for Media Library Selector
No, as there is no need for an import (at least I don't see one)?!
The export is basically intended to sync with e.g. an external scheduler application - to let an external application 'know' which audio entries/tracks are available.
As media libs are based on a playlist or a folder an 'import' would be a bit useless, as the underlying playlist resp. folder needs to be modified...so an import is as simple as either copying new files to a folder or adding new entries to a playlist (and I guess playlist management is one of the strength of ProppFrexx OnAir).
