Stand Alone - Remote Client Manager

Hi Bernd,

Be really cool to be able to run the Remote Client Manager as a stand alone program.
I could then run it on my win 2008r2 server and monitor/control all 3 studios. :D

But you can run it from within ProppFrexx. What's the issue with that?

I have many problems running on the server. Probably because there is no sound card...

Had to uninstall

Can you please explain how this answer is related to the above request?!
- What problems exactly?
- Why would a Remote Client Manage help in that respect?
- Why couldn't you simply use ProppFrexx OnAir instead of a Remote Client Manager?

1. I receive the following error - then a crash:

Error Message: Font 'Arial' does not support style 'Regular'.

Once I click continue it just lock's up, as I said - would that be due to the lack of sound card?

2. A remote client manager would allow me to monitor all 3 studios when logging on remotely at a glance! how cool!

3. I don't want to have to buy another licence for something that is just essentially monitoring the status of the studios, never to playout.
On slow remote connections running VNC onto the studios is very slow and difficult to navigate. again that's where the stand alone client would be perfect.

to 1: No, that looks like Windows itself is not correctly installed - as the "Arial" font is missing!
So you should check your Windows Installation or reinstall that font manually! This has nothing to do with a soundcard.

to 2: Correct - that's why another ProppFrexx instance would be required.

to 3: That seems to be your real issue. But if you wouldn't pay for something which really adds a value ("...how cool...") we have a general misunderstanding. Or do you think I develop an extra program for free just because you don't want to pay?

Woh Bernd,
it was just a suggestion... not trying to "get anything free" I never said I wouldnt pay for such a feature. I have already purchased 4 full versions and am yet to even install and request the 4th key!

Im genuinely shocked !
I was polite and posted an idea in the "Wish List"!

No offence, SORRY, if you or I misunderstood anything!

I just tried to explain, that I do not see any reason for the development of an extra tool, as a separate ProppFrexx ONAIR instance should be used to Remote Control other ProppFrexx instances.
I didn't want to be impolite by any means.
