"MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
"MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
I know that we have talked about it in another topic, but I 'd like to have it here in Wish List to don't forget it.
Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
It's a very important feature for me and that's why I ask you to constantly remind it to them.
Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
I understand, but this is not under my control.
And as you know you can use the Text view for this filter. So there is a good way of handling it. And with a little bit of testing you can not do wrong

Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
Sure, but as said, I already talked to the UI lib vendor multiple times over 1 year...and as explained, they need to add it.
As such, I can not do more than constantly remind them - but as they never implemented it so far...I guess we simply have to wait and wait

Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
In the latest v4.0.1.18 update you can now use the 'MatchesAnyOf' and 'ContainsAnyOf' condition in the visual filter tree.

Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
Oh..... THANK YOU
Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
There is a problem with "MatchesAnyOf" filter.
I am in "Find Track" window and I click ? to open "Advanced Filter/Find Expression builder".
I add a visual filter "Genre MatchesAnyOf Something"
I click ok and it results in 86 tracks.
I then click ? again to edit the filter but the last filter is not presented on builder window.
If I do the same using any other filter (like "Equals") it shows ok.

Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
Does it mean that if I use this filter in my scripts I am not able to edit the filter again and have to rewrite it ?
Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
I just got the confirmation, that this seems to be a current limitation of the UI lib I am using. The answer I got was, that they currently can not do better than this, as anything better would mean a fundamental change in their code. Sorry to hear, but that's how it is.

Re: "MatchesAnyOf" in visual editor
No, but you have to edit it in Text mode back again then; I'll make sure, that the text mode is in such case available again. Currently this is not the case due to a bug the UI vendor added (again) - I'll fix that through an internal workaround. The next version will fix that!
