Preloading Waveform before playing in a Player
Preloading Waveform before playing in a Player
Hello,
is there a way to implement the loading of tracks before they actually start loading into players?
When using a 2 player setup I'm having difficulties with playing two tracks and a jingle (which is about 2 seconds long) in between because the first song and the jingle playout perfectly but that leaves no time to load the next song so it starts playing with a ~1-2 second delay.
Greetings,
Tilen.

Yes, you can save the WaveForms to a .pfwf file once it was created.
See the general settings, section 'Meta Data/WaveForm' - 'Save WaveForm to File (.pfwf)'.
The scenario you describe is just one reason, why I always recommend to use at least 3 players (and never 2).
Another scenario is, where the fade-out time (after the next cue-point) of a current track is longer than the next track itself.
So I guess the real solution in your scenario is to use 3 players.
