Media library history in debug log

Post by Bo98A » 04 Sep 2017 13:09

I am only seeing "Global-History" and "Additional-History" lines in my debug log. I have yet to ever see a line on the media library history. Could logging for that be added?

When running a script (via playlist template wizard in my case), the debug log logs when it tries a track and it was found in the history. It only seems to do this for global and additional history, but not media library history.

I think the same facility is used for the new "test script" feature. I just have never seen it refer to the media library history.

There is also a message, in case a track is failing against a media library history:
-> "MediaLibrary <libname> CheckSongHistory: entry directly contained in media history (<entry>)"

Note, that the media library history check is using a simple strict contained check based on the 'Trackname' (Artist - Title) resp. 'Filename' only.

Doesn't seem to appear for me no matter what. Maybe it's something specific to a DB library? I'm finishing the migration to folder-based libs next week so I'll see then.
