Saving playlist with hooks
Saving playlist with hooks
Bernd, when preparing new playlist with regular but also hook items, after saving playlist and reopening it again tracks defined as hooks are not in hook mode. Could you add this to wishlist? It would be good when saving playlist also information about tracks which are played as hooks in this playlist is saved.

Re: Saving playlist with hooks
Just set the related track options within the playlist to 'UseHookCuePoints' and it works!
I just tested it here and it works fine.
How have you done this in your tests?

Re: Saving playlist with hooks
I did it this way. But after reopening this playlist items are shown as regular tracks and not hooks.

Re: Saving playlist with hooks
Please provide the exact steps to reproduce and if possible please send me your playlist file (before you made the Hook changes and after you made the Hook changes).

Re: Saving playlist with hooks
Hm, I saw it now what happens. I open the playlist containing hook tracks and when I roll down the playlist to those hook tracks they are visible as hooks but after 1-2 seconds they change to normal tracks. Attached you can find playlist before hooks are defined and after hooks are defined. Hooks are items 34-36 of that playlist.

Re: Saving playlist with hooks
Here it is loaded correctly with tracks defined as Hooks!
So what you explain (the 1-3 seconds delay and then the Hook Option 'disappears') sounds like you might have defined the 'MetaData has Priority' options in the general settings, section 'Metadata/Wave from'.
Please deactivate this option.
What might happen is, you have for those tracks proppfrexx TAG data or a .pfmd meta data file existing and that this meta data information doesn't contain the Hook option!
When the 'MetaData has Priority' option is turned on (note, that this option is turned OFF by default), this changes the behaviour/priority on how meta data is prioritized:
MetaData has Priority:
If checked, external meta data has priority over playlist based meta data.
Default (unchecked):
1. Playlist based meta data
2. Meta Data File (.pfmd)
3. Meta Data TAG (proppfrexx)
Priority (checked):
1. Meta Data TAG (proppfrexx)
2. Meta Data File (.pfmd)
3. Playlist based meta data
Note: (2) is only in effect, if the Use MetaData File option is set.

Re: Saving playlist with hooks
Of course, this option is activated. I will deactivate it. Thank you Bernd.
