Michrophone Overide

Post by Dolkis »

Hello.

We are soon starting to use Telephones thrue PF.

My question is if you can help us to fix a overide for the Microphone channels in the SND function.
Meaning this.
MIC1/MIC2/MIC3 Output: OUT.
MIC1/MIC2/MIC3 SND to channel TLP.
MIC TLP SND goes to PFL so I always can hear them thrue the Program
MIC TLP Output: OUT

TLP Device is VAC Line 3,
Input in our Telephone program is, VAC Line 3.

In this case I want to always have the Microphone to send sound to the TLP channel.
In this case I also have SND on my OUT channel to the same TLP channel so the listners can hear the sound of the radio.

My problem is this. SND dont send sound when a channel is Muted, the channel must be muted so its not going on the channel OUT. So I want a overide in SND so even if the channel is muted, it sending the sound from that channel to the SND channel.

In this way we can be 2 speakers on our webstation thrue VOIP.

Now I got you.

Just set the 'Mute/Unmute' option of the respective mixer input channel to 'Mute/Unmute Output Only' (by default this is set to 'Mute/Unmute Output').
This way it is only the 'Output To' signal which is being muted, but not the SND signal.

In the above settings it looks like you are sending the MIC1/2/3 audio signal twice to OUT?
1. MIC1/MIC2/MIC3 Output -> OUT
2. MIC1/MIC2/MIC3 SND -> TLP -> TLP Output -> OUT
Or are 'TLP' and 'MIC TLP' two different mixer channels?

However, I do not get your question or issue?
So what is your exact issue?
