Velleman VM100N "server not started"
Velleman VM100N "server not started"
Hi There,
I have a Velleman VM100N and I got it working with Freeplayer. But I really like ProppFrexx 200% more but I cannot get the Velleman to work with ProppFrexx
When I check the checkbox Velleman Enabled and put in the Mapping I cannot get it to work. When I click on Monitor I get the message that “The Velleman Server is currently not Started. Please enable the Velleman control”
Can you please help me out what I’m doing wrong.
Greetings,
Jeroen

Re: Velleman VM100N "server not started"
The Velleman VM110N uses a slightly different/newer dll than the standard K8055N.
(I hope it is a typo above, as ProppFrexx only supports the Velleman K8055N or the VM110N cards)
When you take a look to the ProppFrexx installation folder you’ll find 2 files:
“K8055D_C.DLL” -> this is the one for the K8055N
and
“K8055D_new.dll” -> this is the one for the VM110N
You just need to rename both files:
“K8055D_C.DLL” to “K8055D_old.DLL”
and
“K8055D_new.dll” to “K8055D_C.DLL”
Then restart ProppFrexx ONAIR and it should work.
(it is a bit odd, but unfortunately Velleman only supports either the one or the other - so I needed to provide both file and then let the user decide; and as most uers still use the K8055N - that's the default)
