Hi Bernd,
I believe it's not a bug, but I do not understand this. You can see my "News" overlay settings below.
If I'm right it should start between X:59:40 and X:04:00.
It's shown 300 seconds in advance but if the current song ends early (eg. X:57:00) the overlay starts immediately but it shouldn't (if the next song played it could ends at X:00:10).
Am I doing something wrong?

I'll double check...
...and I guess you are right, your settings seems to be correct and it indeed starts the overlay too early.
Guess i need to fix that behavior!
