Restoring failed
Restoring failed
Hi Bernd.
We just re-installated PF on the new computer and would like to restore everything. The last back up was last than a week. Now the system tells me that the last back up restore failed. What can i do to make the magic happen?

Re: Restoring failed
Thxs, but were can i find those maps in PF?
Re: Restoring failed
The main folder to restore is the 'Config' folder. In a new default installation, this is the ProppFrexx AppUserData folder, e.g. C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\4.0.
The default scripts folder is underneath the above and is called 'scripts'.
The Advert Storage Path (if used) is given in the general settings.
If you media libs are still at the same location is hard to say from here. If your drive letters or folder structure has changed, you might need to manually re-add/adjust them later on...
I don't know, what other options you might have selected at your backup?

Re: Restoring failed
The backup only works, if your new system is using the exact same drive letters as well as file and folder structure - I can only assume, that this is not the case in your situation.
Else you can still manually copy the folders (contained in the backup) to their new location manually.
