Broadcasting an external stream

Post by WimHP »

Hello,

Due to an event i want to broadcast an external stream for 2,5 days. What is the best way to do that in ProppFrexx?
All the other programs are skiped in the 2,5 days.

Create a mixer input channel and connect our external audio signal to the related line-in of your soundcard which you are using with the related mixer input channel.
Than use this mixer input channel as your source for streaming.

Hello Bernd,

Thanks for the answer. But i think it will not work in my situation. Because i am using ProppFrexx on a VPS and the PC is not physical present.

Yes. Or You can also use a script with a single LoadTrack script-line and specify the URL as its entry.

Then I do not understand your initial question?!
How did believe can you stream an external event? If it is delivered digitally as a URL-stream, you can of course simply play this event stream in your ProppFrexx system. But if it is a live event, you would of course need a physical audio cable to your line input?!
