mirror database
Hi Bernd,
what is the easiest way to install a second media library server (for backup & redundance purpose)?
I wish then to specify this second path to each remote folders.
I can rebuild manually all the libs in this second server but there's probably a shortest way if both machines have the same folders architecture. right?
I've allready set a sync tool to mirroring the files.
I suppose I have to install PF on this second computer, but what files do i have to sync to get a working mirror server?
Thomas.

Re: mirror database
The shortest way is to simply copy the entire folder structure of your media libs on the server. If the drives/paths are the same it should all work.
Make sure to also copy the AppUserData folder of the MLS as well.
On the client side (within ProppFrexx ONAIR) you can specify per each remote media lib an alternative host address in case of a failover.
