Hi Bernd,

We use Sonifex streamers for live broadcasts. we now stream an mp3 320kbps stream to the icecast server which also runs proppfrexx. The sonifex streamer can also stream PCM. can this also be picked up by the MOD stream in proppfrexx?

Yes it can. The MOD stream should be able to pick up any supported PCM, MP3, OGG, WMA, AAC, OPUS, FLAC, HLS stream.

Can you indicate how I should do that? I do not get it running with icecast. I also tried shoutcast. that does not work either.

What should I explain? How the MOD Stream Watcher works in order to pick up a PCM stream?
Please take a look here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=57&p=212

Or do you want to stream a PCM stream yourself via ProppFrexx to an ICEcast server?
If yes, you would need to define in the streaming server settingsto use the 'ACM' encoder. The ACM encoder is the windows audio compression manager. Via the encoder profiles, you can define in for the ACM encoder a plain PCM codec (see here on how to define an encoder profile viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5).
This should allow you to stream a plain PCM stream to an ICEcast server.
