How to make more schedulers

Is it possible to make more than one scheduler?
E.g. Christmas, typical events etc?
It takes a extra load of work if i have to adjust everything every time.

Ps, Merry Xmas

Try giving you an simple example.
Its christmas time. Created scripts for xmas and i want to play that during the festive holiday time. Lets say from dec 1 till dec 26th.
Now i need to create that how? Isn't it more simple to just load a pre-programmed scheduler were you just have to give start and end time?
Other example: Suddenly summery days are coming, these days look happy, why not just load the Scheduler named 'summer' instead of making changes on the fly?
Why not create a map structure, just load a new scheduler?
On the other hand, maybe that is possible and i'm not aware!

Hope you get my question now?

But you can do all this already.
E.g. for X-mas, you 'delete' those entries in the scheduler which you want to change.
Note, that you need to select 'delete occurence' instead of 'delete series'!
This way you have made a so called 'exception'; ie. after your x-mas time the original series and scripts do continue.

In the scheduler the removed entries are now free again for new entries - ie. new entries in which you schedule your x-mas special scripts.
I find this much more simple instead of heaving multiple overlayed schedulers - as the other one can be very confusing as well.

I am not sure what you mean.
You can create as many entries in the scheduler as you want.
You can remove certain entries from even recurring entries to make exceptions etc.
There is basically no limit - thus there is no need for extra or more schedulers ;-)

Bernd, now i dont get it?
Can’t find anything on YouTube and this explanation is not clear to me.
Please Try to explain it simple? I’ve already have an full24-7 schedule. What to do next?

Merry Xmas

When the scheduler is open, click on an existing recurring entry. Now press the Del key. You will now be asked, if you want to delete this occurrence or the entire series. Select to delete the occurrence only.
Now see what is happening...
You have a kind of ‘hole’ in your recurrence - an exception, ie. at the time you removed the entry you now have a free space.
Free space to schedule something else. E.g. a new program entry for your Xmas script.

You can of course not only delete one single occurrence, but many, all in December.

I hope it is now clear.

Hi Bernd, would it be possible to repeat these "exclusions" on a yearly basis? (during the same date range each year...)

No. If you have a recurring series and and want to add recurring exception to it, you need to modify the recurrence itself ;-)
E.g. if you have a daily recurrence and want to remove any 2nd day, you can simply create a recurrence for every 2nd day...
