Prevent track-insert from being stored in track (metadata)

Post by franksiegers »

Hi all,

In my script I have an LoadTrack line that loads a jingle with the Automatic Track Insert Transition Option set to End with Ramp of Next Track.

When used in a playlist, the jingle is nicely added into the intro of the next track. However, this is not only stored in this playlist but apparently also in the track's metadata: When I close PF and add the track to a new, empty (manually created) playlist, the jingle is still inserted.

How can I prevent this and make sure the insert is only applied within 1 playlist?

Cheers,

Frank

Probably you have enabled to automatically save the meta data to the file in the general settings?!
Because it would not do so by default.
So you need to disable those settings.

Hi,

Yes I did, I was hoping to auto save the ACPD. Is there some way to always auto create (and store) ACPD without storing events to track meta data?

There is a combining called ‚What to Auto Save‘.
But there is no way for a more fine grained specification.
