Moving proppfrexx without losing settings
Our setup of proppfrexx will be moved next week to a brand new server. but to setup everything again. 'insert horror' .. So the question is..
can we move proppfrexx to the new server without installing a brand new setup.

Re: Moving proppfrexx without losing settings
Yes, you basically need to make sure, that the drive letters are exactly the same and then copy everything over to the new PC:
- the AppDataUser folder (containing all the settings), e.g. %appdata%/radio42/ProppFrexx ONAIR
(as you are using a different sound card, I suggest to delete the file 'Default.mixer', as else this might cause trouble)
- your media files and folders
- your script files
- your Advert Storage Path
If the drive letters are different or your computer name changes (in case you are using UNC paths) you might need to adjust those paths in many files! In that case it might be simpler to start with the setup from the beginning.
For example, the .pfp based media libs contain paths to your physical audio - if that changes, you would need to adjust the .pfp files.
The .calendar files (Program and Overlay) might contain references to e.g. overlay Openers, Closers, which might need to be adjusted.
Same for various .config files etc.
In case UNC paths are used, make also sure, that they are 100% the same as before.
