Email service in ProppFrexx

Hi Bernd,

for example, if we have a silence detection then ProppFrexx always sent me an e-mail. But that hasn't happened for a while. I have already tested various settings for the mail. Via gmail or our own provider. Different smtp servers etc. Nothing that works. When I press test I get this message:

What could be the cause of this?

This error is shown in case the SMTP mail settings (in general settings, section General, button 'Mail Settings...' are not correct.
E.g. either the username/password, smtp host for outgoing mail, the port number or SSL option is incorrectly set.
Also specify the mail address to use.
If you don't know the correct settings, please ask your mail provider and make sure, that he supports 'password authorization'.
