Scheduler

Post by Gunnar »

Good evening Bernd,

I have a problem with the sheduler.

When my station plays without scheduled playlists my cue points are good and mixes are ok.
However when I schedule an hour my cue points move a little forward, which makes the mixes doesn t sound smooth/good.

Also the duration time of my playlist shortens, sometimes up to 50 seconds on a 1 hour playlist.

Do you know this problem and is there a solution, or is there an error in my settings?

Thank you for your help.

No, I don’t think, that cue-points move or change magically. There is essentially absolutely no difference between loading a playlist manually and then use AutoPlay to play it or to automatically load a playlist via the scheduler and then let it also play automatically.

Please describe how you load and play the playlist manually and how you compare it when playing it via the scheduler?!
Are both Playlists exactly the same? Please show your related playlist and script. And describe how you test and compare both.

What I can think of is, that some your tracks being played might have no cue-points set at all and that thus during AutoPlay some of them are calculated automatically via the ACPD (automatic cue-point detection) function are calculated on the fly?!

But else (if all tracks already contain cue-point in its meta data) it is technically impossible.
