Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
We can continue this forever.
How often something and if at all is written depends all on your settings. Eg. If you calculate ACPD with each play of a track and if you specify to automatically save those to the TAG data is possible...there are many settings.
But it is not the default.
But regardless, saving TAG data will and had never destroyed the audio part!
As said, hundreds of user use ProppFrexx 24 by 7.
TAG data has been written since many many years without issues.
So I am sorry to say, but you would the first.
That’s why I believe you are wrong.
I offered two further options to you (deactivating TAG writing is even a 3rd option!)
Use any or all of these option to further test your system.

I am pretty sure that ACPD destroying the audio file.
Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
Do not be stubborn, just please do the tests.
Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
Additionally I found a few posts regarding the same issue as main. So don't lie that I am the first.
Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
I can backup my configuration and send it over to you. Maybe in some cases the issue came up. I've checked the RAID controller, cables, filesystem there is nothing wrong.
"If you calculate ACPD with each play of a track and if you specify to automatically save those to the TAG data is possible... " I am very suspicious THAT OPTION could be the problem. So please DOUBLE CHECK your code under that condition. PLEASE.

Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
How to calculate the ACPD with no saving it to the file? Is it possible?
Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
This is very simple deal. I would like to buy more licenses of the PF, because my team working from their homes. I like the PF. I like how it is build and how ease I can work with that software. But I am very careful now. I wish to have stable software environment, but now I am afraid of the stability of PF. Additionally HERE IS NO SUPPORT. Instead I have to listen to the cocky coder who is convinced of his spotlessness.
Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
I never lie here!
Send the correct file I a
I send it back after Savin new ACPD. - that is simple.
See the general settings, section Meta Data/WaveForm.

Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
That is no help. You're not taking my words serious. Professional man would say : "ok, I will test it and let you know the results." Instead you have just SHOUTING at me. GIVE ME FILE!!! I"LL SEND IT BACK TO YOU. MAN!!! Relax. Get your file from your library and test it. YOU ARE the coder your responsibility is to sell product with no bugs. I am the client. I want to have the product with no issues. I don't want to think "oh I can not to use that option, 'cause this is buggy, oh I can not click that because this is buggy too" . You've just said " I NEVER LIE HERE". Really? See attached picture.I never lie here!

Re: Metadata (TAG) written into the audio file (mp3) destroying sound.
I proved you're lying twice.
1. "ProppFrexx do not write anything to the audio file by itself. This is lie.
2. I am the very first person who have the corrupted files because ProppFrexx overwrite the audio files.
