Music over overlay and Explorer window is gone

Hello All,

2 questions, maby simple but i can't figure them out.

1. Music plays over overlay items
At the top of the hour, we have news and some commercials. Somtimes the music stay's playing over the news en commercials. An hour later everything is fine, where i'm making a mistake?

2. Expolorer window is gone
A user (also not a admin) is missing his Explorer window. We can klick on view and then show explorer path, but the screen is not coming back. What is going wrong?

That is all a bit strange and what you report doesn't match what you post here (screenshots).
You say, that a news overlay at 14:00 was running over the 'music'.
But you have posted 2 overlays as screenshots: one running at 00:00 and another one running at 10:01.
So please post resp. check the one running at 14:00 ?!
Also the program you posted runs from 9:00 to 16:00 (as seen on the screenshots) and not from 06:00 til 17:00 as you posted.

So either you posted the wrong screenshots or something else is different


Regarding the layout.
Each user can reset its own layout, by clicking on the user icon at the very top right 'Change User Settings...'.
In the user settings dialog you can select the 'Look and Feel' tab and the click on the Layout 'Reset' button.

Btw, what license and version are you using as I can not find your email address in my registration database.

Thanks for your answer. Yes News and Commercials are located in the Overlay scheduler, at all items is "suspend programm" checked.

Yeah, with the layout is strange. We are working with 2 screens, but we can't find the explorer anywhere.

So is it only a new, regular program (which is may be starting at the top hour in parallel)?
Or is there any other pattern?

Is the explorer window may be hidden/behind another window?
Else try to delete the .layout file.

How have defined the news and commercials? Within the overlay scheduler?
If yes, make sure to have set the 'Suspend Playlist' option.

The disappeared Explorer Window sounds a bit strange. If nothing helps you might need to delete the related .layout file. It is located in the ProppFrexx AppUserData folder and contains the name of your user. Eg. "ProppFrexx OnAir.Username.layout"

Thanks, no there is a programm whit a script from 06.00 - 17.00 and at 14.00 the news was running over the music. This was today. As attachtment some screenshots from the schedule and overlay programs.

The problem of the Explorer, 4 users have the same problem, at 2 different systems. Deleting the Layoutfile helps, but doesn't fix the problem for users. Only a ProppFrexx Admin by the station can do that. Is there another possibility to fix this?

Layout is okeay, I didn't know that. Thanks. In my first post of today I have make a mistake. There was today a program from 09.00 - 16.00 (not from 06.00 - 17.00) that is the screenshop programm.jpg. Then at every hour we have the news overlay (overlay-news.jpg) they are all the same (i have checked that). After the news we have the commercials, they start 1 minute after the top of the hour (also after the news overlay, overlay-advertising.jpg) Overlay off advertising are all the same, this is one slot (A) which is recurrence every hour.

Also, news overlay screenshot (overlay-news.jpg) is exactly the same at 14.00
And the commercial overlay (overlay-advertising.jpg) is every hour the same.

I can't make new screenshots at this moment, the are making live programm's this evening. About the license we have had some mail contact earlier, I have send that again.

Okay, I see.
I'll double check, if I can find anything which might cause this behavior.

Bernd,

The button reset is not visable in the Standard Operator layout. Is it possible to switch it on somewhere?
