Titel update Overlay Editor
Re: Titel update Overlay Editor
But to a streaming server you only stream a single song title and not an Artist and a Title. So I am not sure, for what you need this?

Re: Titel update Overlay Editor
The player is for sure not connected to ProppFrexx directly!
There is unfortunately a difference between playing an audio file and a stream. The title you set above is a songtitle for streaming.
And in the interface of the streaming servers (ie. SHOUTcast or ICEcast) there is only a single title string, but not a an extra Artist field.

Re: Titel update Overlay Editor
In ProppFrexx you can define this yourself, see the 'Songtitle' format for the streaming server (each one can even use different formats).
By default ProppFrexx uses the 'Trackname', which is composed out of: 'Artist - Title'.
Still, this doesn't change the subject.
I.e. in your case, the player application would have to separate and parse the info as well from the single songtitle info the streaming server presents.
And how the player application is doing this is out of my control
I'll give you a more clear example for songtitle updates:
a) a track has metadata: Artist=xyz and Title=abc
The resulting songtitle update is a single text "xyz - abc".
b) When you set a dedicated songtitle as a single text, that might be "gfh" OR it might also be "xyz - abc".

Re: Titel update Overlay Editor
I optimized some display and update setting in the new v4.4.3.0 - so please try again in that version.
In that version you can now specify the Artist and Title separately with this notation: ARTIST=xyz; TITLE=abc

Oh yes, that was a bug. I released a v4.4.3.3 as an update.
