Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
Ahh yes, I changed various commands, events and macros from 'CARDWALL' to 'CARTWALL'.
So please re-download this ZIP-File: ProppFrexx_ONAIR_TouchOSCiPad.zip
It should now be fixed!

Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
on the fresh install the OSC aint working again.
Portforward 9000 - 9001 to my PC 192.168.1.2
I can see the remaing time on the decks on the iPad. But i cant controll anything.
Anything with iOS 8 update or OSC update?

Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
I understand it is frustrating - but I hope you understand, that this is not really something I can look into.
Have you tried contacting the support of Touch OSC?

Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
If it only works in one direction, then it is a networking issue, which I can not do anything about, as it might be iOS/Touch OSC related resp. related to your network setup.
So please recheck your network settings...and try it locally before you experiment with port forwarding, as there are many network issue to concider.
However, I can not give here general network setup help, in such case please contact a network admin for help, as it is not ProppFrexx related.

Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
And the mapping hasnt been changed with the controll comands? I've tried with download the event file again, with no success.
At hexler they saying that if i can see ex. Deck A be playing with remaing time, i have a valid connection to the host, they we're asking if i have the right event file so the touchosc app can send right value with commands to the host.

Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
Ouiiieee, found the problem, somehow the eventfile was empty, so when i imported the event file something must have happend when i was extracting it from the zip-file to the radio42 location in Roaming-files.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: Open Sound Control (OSC) with your iPhone/iPad
The mapping hasn't changed; but you can use the OSC 'Monitoring...' button within ProppFrexx general settings, section 'GPIO' to monitor any incoming OSC messages...
If there are incoming messages your network connection is okay...if there are no incoming OSC messages, the network connection is not okay.
