A total breakdown

Post by Joche »

Hi,
Today when I was about to start ProppFrexx to go onair I forgot to first start my USB-Soundcard.
This caused ProppFrexx to totally breakdown and crash. After that it says that the config and userconfig-files are broken.
I also tried to upgrade to the newest version and got this error:
2014-05-28 09:38:55 [v3.0.13.21]:********** Error/Exception Information **********
Error Message: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.
Error Type: System.InvalidOperationException
Error Source: mscorlib.Boolean MoveNext()
********** System Stack Trace **********

at System.Windows.Forms.Application.Exit(CancelEventArgs e)

at System.Windows.Forms.Control.InvokeMarshaledCallback(ThreadMethodEntry tme)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.InvokeMarshaledCallbacks()
********** End **********

So here I am without a running ProppFrexx and I suppose I will have to redo all my configuration and start over...

That crash happened in your sound driver not being ready/available I guess - which is a sign of a badly implemented driver - not much to do about from my side.
However, config files should never be effected by that!
But when the app is crashing unexpectedly because of a badly implemented sound driver I am afraid all can happen...
I assume you have a backup handy to recover things...?
