Hotkey Mapping / TalkUser
Re: Hotkey Mapping / TalkUser
Of course there might and should be something done...IF I only would know which keys are problematic and how they are generated and why they would cause some hotkeys from not working?!
What do you mean by reg-keys found in the "audio branch"?! ProppFrexx is not writing to those keys!
Here is a list of registry entries which are generated/used by ProppFrexx:
ProppFrexx ONAIR:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\version\Rescan
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\radio42\ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\radio42\ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer\version\Rescan
All other keys are generated/used by the Microsoft Installer (to which I have absolutely no control) or MUST be from another software including the Windows OS...
E.g. I noticed while scanning my own registry, that the Microsoft OS (resp. DirectX) seems to self register the ProppFrexx application in the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\DirectInput" key! This is also something totally out of my control! So may be there is a bug in the DirectInput implementation of the Microsoft OS/DirectX drivers causing your issue.
If yes, I am sorry, but there is not much I can do about or against it.
