Error while streaming

When i was streaming my VT session, and i was downstairs and was listen to the stream (while i was finishing the housepainting :p)

- Suddently the streamed, died, and the automation music started, ran upstairs, and saw that i still was connected to the stream accordning to the 'Streaming Monitor' and was still connected it said, but in shoutcast admin on the mainserver-relay the automation was online.

-Tried to kick it, reconnected, after 10sec, the automation was on again.

Then i rebooted PF, and then i was this error message.

After the reboot, it worked.

Some error claiming that it was some error with "too long duration"(?)

That#s a weird one - never got into this.
I'll try to investigate it.

Just to be sure, when you say "automation was on again" - I guess you mean an automation on your streaming server - which has nothing to do with PF I guess?!

Yes, i mean our autorotation streamed, but it said that i was connected in PF, which i was not.

It seems, that PF was about to 'try' to disconnect from the server but somehow never got any response anymore from that server and as such got stuck and finally ended up in such a weird 'time out' exception. The 'server disconnect' thread actually failed.

What kind of streaming server is it that you are using?

ShoutCast (not the new one.)

But SHOUTcast has no 'Auto DJ' or Automation support - so there must be some additional software installed/used?!

What i was meaning was, that we have a server who are playing our music 24/7 when noone are "onair", then we kick that stream from admin.cgi-page on shoutcast server, when we want to broadcast, and when we're done we're dissconnecting and then the server will come on again.
