Re: Radionomy
Disconnects from your location to the server.
The servers are in France and my other connexions are Ok (no way that the problem comes from my internet Link).
Radionomy told me that the problem is linked with the broadcast software because there is no problem with Sam Broadcaster for example...

Re: Radionomy
Why do they think so? Have you tried other broadcasting software?Radionomy told me that the problem is linked with the broadcast software
That is a typical answer from those guys. I can say the same: No other customer is having any streaming issue: So it must be Radionomy!
How often are you disconnected?
What type of server is Radionomy running: SHOUTcastv1, SHOUTcastv2, ICEcast 1.x, ICEcast 2.x...?
What is your encoding profile (MP3-128kbps, ...)?
What soundcard are you using, what OS and what type of PC are you running?
Are you broadcasting from ProppFrexx to another streaming servers in parallel?
If yes, do you have problems with them? If yes, what happens, if you only stream to Radionomy?
Have you tried another streaming software, e.g. a stand-alone streaming only solution?
It still could be your internet connection. What upload speed does your internet connection have?
Do you maybe have a limited internet connection, e.g. with a monthly or daily maximum volume traffic (e.g. after X GB of traffic your speed is limited)?
...
AS said, I do not believe that it is a ProppFrexx issue, as no other user is having a streaming issue.
So far ALL reported issues have been network related...

Re: Radionomy
Thank you.
I know it is a typical answer.
I have got another streaming server and it works fine so i'm convinced that this is not a ProppFrexx problem.
The interest of my question is just to know if another radionomy customer have the same problem when using ProppFrexx.

Re: Radionomy
Disconnects from your location to the server? - or disconnects at your clients?
Have you checked your network connection (speed and ping time)?
Where is the 'Radionomy' server located; where are you located ... maybe it is simply a bad/slow interconnection between your site and the Radionomy server?!
What has this to do with ProppFrexx?

Re: Radionomy
Hello.
We are using Radionomy since 1 Year.
The Problems, you explained, we only had with bad Internet connection, from our Station, to the Radionomyserver.
The uplaod of your Stream needs min.128 kb/s.
If Your Provider slow down your connection for only 0,1 sec. below 128 kb/s, the Radionomyserver thinks, you are offline, and starts the autmomatic Stream.
Thats the Problem. You must have a stable connection to the Radionomy Server.
Contact your Provider, and tell him that your connection isn`t stable enough, broadcasting Media over Internet.
