It looks like a pure display issue in the file explorer - which needs to be fixed in the next version.
E.g. if you drag the file from the explorer window to a playlist and show the same column here, it is displayed correctly.

That would be strange, as this would mean, that the system is not updating the entry statistic for it.
Can you post/send me one example file to take a look at, as in my tests here the statistic is always updated as expected.
Are you using a Media Library Server?
What have you specified for the 'Update when option in the general settings, section 'Logging/History'?

Yes, you can press ALT+2 (Show Info) in order to get the most recent entry statistics for any file (Last Played At and Play Counter).

A new v4.0.3.38-update now fixes those display issues.
